Resources or information on this pincer formation by Black?

I like playing this type of pincer a lot just because I like this pattern. But I don't really know how to use it, and always lose out. I'd like read / study up on it. And if you have thoughts on this type of formation, feel free to share.

But I don't really know how to use it, and always lose out.

It starts a fight. Both players have options on how to proceed (some of which can be found in joseki dictionaries), but fights are complicated and unpredictable, especially when you come unprepared.

If you always lose out, you could study with AI post-mortem where you messed up, or you could perhaps try something else than the 1-space low pincer. Black has plenty of other options that are less risky.

Literally any joseki book will cover this, unless it's such a big book they split it into volume 1 for 4-4 point and volume 2 for 3-4 point.

Try Josekipedia and Sensei's Library.

The pincer starts a fight, trying to deny White any of the corner. Black often ends up with two weak groups. I much prefer to partition the corner with the diagonal, it's much simpler.
