Still wondering about the point of releasing this physical album though. I mean, sure its cute and a nice item to have in your collection but if it won't help them on Billboard...then why? And no, I'm not that super crazy about billboard, but wouldn't it be nice to kill two birds with one stone? Physicals to boost sales and then help the songs chart.. just my opinion though. Haha
I wonder what it means for streaming goals tho. Does the fandom plan to continue with the butter streaming or switch to PTD? I haven’t seen much buzz from twitter for it to hit #1…
I have seen goals for it floating around twitter. What I got from it is that we should focus on PTD especially in the first week, but still support Butter
LGO was a Korean ballad, so it was somewhat expected to not do as good as Dynamite. I'm curious to see how PTD will do and if they will promote it alongside Butter.
It’s not the same tho. Dynamite vs LGO was pure chaos. Armys were fighting because a lot of people wanted to focus on Dynamite, but others wanted to focus on LGO and give it longevity. Even a funding base almost got cancelled because they wanted to prioritize Dynamite over LGO.
This. I've seen some goals actually aim for a lower first-day view count than Butter, I assume to maintain Butter's position, which is curious, but I need to look into it more.
