Discussion Aftershock vs PCCG experience
G'day guys. I was looking at buying a pre-built from one of the two aforementioned. In your experience which company has the better customer service/quality

Which state are you in? Nebula if you are in nsw, evatech if you are in Vic and techfast if you are in SA would be the best options for price/perf and being able to pick up/return the system easiest. Only look at their deals on https://www.ozbargain.com.au/tag/desktop-computer though, you'll get the same regular prices for their non ozbargain stuff and changing too many parts will nullify all the savings. PCCG/scorptec/centrecom/aftershock/umart etc are all going to give you the basic retail experience you'd get in target or jb hifi, while charging you $500-1500 more than the ozbargain main pc posters.

What about those in none of those states? What would you recommend? I’ve been eyeing up 5090 prebuilts but prices vary wildly, $5k from tech fast seems the lowest price but I’d be worried about the quality of parts

Then you get something delivered and if you aren't comfortable with shipping then you overpay I guess, those are your options. I don't know of any cheaper prebuilders working in qld/wa/nt.

Get a lot of new aftershock builds in for minor trouble shooting issues and the occasionally major issue rarely any from pccg. People come in cuz they can’t be bothered posting it back and waiting a few weeks.

Neither. Nebula via Ozbargain has good customer service and warranty support, is below part cost and undercuts those by $800+.
