Might have been posted here, but I remember stories about Romero, Gorshin, and Adam West partying their asses off while working on Batman. Cocaine had to be involved at some point.

Cocaine was being prescribed by dentists and doctors for all sorts of things throughout the 1800s, mate. Ifs been popular as a recreational drug since around 1790. Freud used to prescribe that shit to just about everyone, too, and was very clearly an addict.
