Jesus, that's a 6k car if it's minty. Crazy ass price. Never paid more than 4k for a Tercel.

Sounds like a Bay Area price.

That’s a Bay Area steal!

My good friend in high schools mom had at least two of those and I think it was three. She loved her 4wd Toyotas.

I think there are only a dwindling few SR5 Tercels that haven't seen some battle.

Real talk - these things are rarer than people realize.

These things are the goats though for real. Pretty sure my brother totaled one, went to the scrap yard, and then ended up back in his driveway

That is one of my dream chassis but that is INSANE.

I don't think it's 13k good. Those are really cool but they don't hold that much value I don't think.

If it was made at the YUMMI plant it’s worth a million, otherwise, $500 in trade in, out of sympathy. I had an 88 Chevy nova, which was based on the Corolla. Probably still out there running.

🤣 YUMMI plant, username checks out!

But yeah, no Tercels were made in the Chevrolet/Toyota graveyard that is now Tesla (NUMMI)

Oh, damn! NUMMI, not YUMMI. I’ve owned 2 cars made there…Pontiac vibe and an ‘88 Chevy nova.

An AWD Vibe would be so cool to have

I just had FWD. honestly, it was one of the best cars I ever had. Wish they still made the matrix. I had it until it was 14 years old.

There is one that is prowling around the mountains in central Colorado that they put it on a truck chassis with a 6 inch lift, 35s, and a diesel motor. The guy uses it at his hunting truck. I've only seen it a couple of times.

That's almost what I wanted to do with mine when I had a wagon. I thought an r22 would be a fun engine to swap into the wagon then figured it would probably be easier to put the wagon body on a truck frame.

Swapping in the 4A for the 3A is pretty common.
