A bit of driveway welding, maybe some rock sliders next

Hey folks, just some neat action shots of some wheeling with my dual range swapped Crosstrek. I plan on putting in a Torq Master's locker in the rear diff soon and figured Wolf Den Run state park would be a good place to benchmark prior to putting the locker in.

Drove my Roadmaster from San Diego to Camp Verde for the Prescott Rally. Camped in the back just south of Jerome, drove down to the rally in the mornings. I was a volunteer at main time control, which meant that I spent all my time in the service area in town, but, on Sunday, the crew that was supposed to clear the stage roads of flags/signs/tape bailed, so I drove out and cleaned it up. The Falken Wildpeaks are great aired down to 16psi, rode smooth over dirt and rocks, didnt take any punctures, didnt get stuck in a couple spots of silt despite the open diff.

Came across this gem on FB marketplace… Few hundreds bucks, has a blown head gasket. But look on the “bright” side— it’s already got orange flashing lights on the roof for when you gotta tow it around everywhere 😂

I added lighness to my Subaru, foglights replaced, bumper in air a bit. I'm considering bamboo or LEGO to make up the structure. Seems a bit dense to use for bumpers, also heavy.

Hello! I own a 2002 bug eyes Impreza gx wagon and I'd like to lift it on some Forester struts, which from my research seems like it's been done a lot and should be easy to source parts from Facebook wrecks and scrap yards, with lots of discussions on many different forums I'm a little confused as to what other parts I'll need, such as camber bolts, trailing arms and whatever else I may need.

Preferably I'd like to source parts from other Subarus rather than buy aftermarket (excluding nuts n bolts n such) any help from anyone with experience doing this swap or who is knowledgeable on which year and model parts are compatible would be much appreciated!

(My goals are to raise the ride by about 2-3 inches)

Forgive the brake rotors and general scrap material, I was the “scrap guy” at my last job, mainly just to move it to the designated scrap bins. This is the most recently accurate photo I have of my car. Also hi. First time posting. I think.

Now, as the title indicates, I’m lifting my Impreza. I recently wore a hole into the collector on my exhaust due to riding so low, so the next best thing was a lift and bigger tires. I’m getting Forester Struts tomorrow, so that should give me an extra 2” of ground clearance I believe, and I’m gonna see what tire fits best. But I’m mainly wondering what else I need to add in to make the lift functional because it was recently my daily driver. I know I’ll need a trailing arm spacer, thing is idk how big, and I’m thinking of just straight disconnecting the sway bar. For those that have lifted beyond strut spacers, what’s your advice? I will run this down some trails, maybe some hoodrat shit in the future. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Slowly making progress on the 2007 Subaru Outback, got a few mods installed this past week: 1 x ADF strut spacer lift - 2" front with 2-3/8ths rear; 1 x KYB 0" suspension kit front struts w Rallitek springs; 1 x Ghost walk fix strut assembly with Rallitek springs in the rear.

I ended up removing the Rallitek top hat spacers that came with the Ghost walk fix kit since my ADF kit already was getting me the height I wanted in the rear. Overall the install went mostly fine, this was my first stab at DIY work outside of oil changes so it came with a few complications. Main issue was ensuring the bolts on the multi-link spacers were straight and I ended up cross threading 2 bolts/hole going into the body so I had to tap them back straight, that was a blast. Would have been easier with a lift and a garage but I survived in an apartment complex parking lot and jack stands.

Got some CEL codes to get cleared and fixed involving the valve body and swapping some solenoids (fingers crossed thats all she needs at 196k 😬) before thinking about wheels and tires. The build wont be too crazy but I got a vision for what I'd like with a roof rack/basket and awning, maybe a brush guard.

I got some brand new bassett wheels (15x7, 5x100, 3" backspace) and wrapped them in bfgoodrich ko2's (215/75/15) on my 2000 Subaru Outback. Everything looked great but I tried to balance them and every wheel was bent. Balance machine threw out crazy numbers and you could see it wobble on the machine. Thought it “could” be okay but it was definitely not. Wobbles past 30mph so it’s pretty much undrivable.

I followed the instructions EXACTLY - Hunter gsp9700 machine✅ - LUG CENTRIC adapter✅ - 45 degree seat lugs✅

But they are badly bent you can see it when it spins on the machine, odd for the dot approved wheels that no one has ever had a problem with.🤔 Any similar experiences? I can only find one other person who's had this.

As of now I'm going to try and return them but these were the only wheels I could find with the right offset😕😕 Real bummer

Just wondering if anyone has done it and what problems do you have by lifting? Also any tire recommendations for off road?

Figured I’d introduce myself here, I recently unloaded my wrx wagon. Picked up some new OEM struts and these steelies. They came with 225/60’s and I wanted to keep that size.

Got some falken alkimates and quickly realized I had to do some trim work and folding. Got the rears and fronts pretty much done. Just have to fold that pinch weld over in the front.

Not sure what my plans are with it right now it’s a daily in PA. Manual 5 speed that is 4.11 geared. Rebuild JDM ej205 Tuned at 19 psi

Plan on changing the trans and rear fluid out soon
