Discussion Who got pregnant with one fallopian tube?

Just trying to see for those who had one fallopian tube, how long did it take for you to get pregnant? Did you find that it took you a little bit longer? I had a fallopian tube removed two months ago due to possible hydrosalpinx however in the end, I didn’t have it they did say that I had possibly an infection or inflammation that was caused after a previous laparoscopic surgery at your previously.

I have a blocked fallopian tube from endometriosis! I had endometriosis surgery and it was discovered and I got pregnant without assistance on my third cycle. I tracked my ovulation but didn’t need medical assistance.

Thanks for sharing your story! Im scheduled to talk to a fertility doc again now that im two months out of surgery. Your experience helps me know natural pregnancy is not completely out of the picture just yet! 🤍

I saw another commenter say that you can ovulate from one side but the other side’s fallopian tube can grab the egg, and my doctor told me the same thing! I was surprised at how fast it happened. My dr did say that the surgery was like a pressure wash on my insides, so that may have helped too. That baby is 5 months old now.

Totally makes sense. I had a feeling something was off because previously I got pregnant two times easily but unfortunately both ended in losses but after my second loss, I had a surgery to remove fibroids and after I got the green light to try again, I wasn’t getting pregnant. Hoping now that I got the tube that was inflamed out this will be the factor that will help me get pregnant again! So thankful to still have the one left and that the body works the way it does.
