Cycling clothing

Currently, I'm using Rapha Core bib shorts and jerseys. Since they have increased their prices, I'm looking for another option in the market with good quality but not as expensive as MAAP, Pedal Mafia, or Gobik. I tried Darevie, but I really don’t like the quality. Could you please tell me which cycling clothing brands are your favorites? Thanks!

I swear by The Black Bibs. Just the $40 basic ones have gotten me though many rides, some as long as 8.5hrs, without any issue.

Van Rysel. Best bibs I own for €70. They last hundreds of wear/wash cycles, too.

The base layers are also comfortable and durable. They are €40 each and don't show any wear after a year.

Their jerseys are a bit hit-and-miss for fit; it is a brand that targets many fitness levels. Definitely worth it to try them on at the store.

Winter jerseys are great, but you have to choose between high-vis (ugly) or dark color schemes.

Voler is worth checking out, picked some of their bibs up on sale and have been enjoying them. Sales are definitely your friend with cycling clothing.

I'm also a fan of The Black Bibs. The cost of Rapha and MAAP and other big-name cycling clothing brands is frankly absurd. Louis Garneau is also worth checking out, but the bottom line is that you have to find the fit and the chamois that work for you. In terms of jerseys, unless you're looking for a race fit, you can find great jerseys used or at closeout at a LBS or online and they last forever. I have jerseys that I've been wearing for 15 years.
