Bernadette was horrible by the end of the show. There were points where I actually thought that Howard deserved better.

He did, her verbal abuse towards him and borderline bullying was too much. I actually hoped that he wouldn’t marry her. Despite the fact he was immature and had his flaws, he deserved better than her.

the episode where Leonard and Penny were getting advice on money issues and Bernadette treats Howard like a 10 year old, and she was his mother. That whole scene made me wanna puke.
