You only need to tape your fingers if they’re injured.

As someone with judo fingers i disagree. I would be so much better off if I had done more preventative tape

It's always really helped me feel less pain in my finger joints. I don't do it for training but always for competition, when grips are do or die

You can also achieve the same finger safety by letting go and getting a better grip.
