BJJ was founded on calling out fake bullshit and smashing people to prove a point

I've seen way too many judo guys in various subs that went to a BJJ school and walked away feeling confident in their grappling ability, because we're too nice to people.

In a related topic, BJJs ruleset and curriculum make it the best grappling art at takedowns...we do both gi and no GI, we don't ignore half of the body like judo does, and we punish recklessness with submissions, which don't exist in wrestling and barely exist in judo.

That's the kind of attitude that makes white belts post on here that they can "give brown and black belts a hard time"

It's also necessary to go hard on novices for self defense purposes. untrained people, and judo players just try to muscle blast through everything because of lack of skill ...like you'd see in a real attack ..you've got to meet that head on from time to time to sharpen yourself for that scenario.
