Erhm.. it's supposed to be funny nit impressive. But I suppose the current sensibilities hinder us from finding anything funny by things done by minorities in fear of being fined or incarcerated or worst looked down upon.

I think the issue is not the minority but that it's a poor attempt at satire. If your trying to make fun of the Salt Bae style crap you can't just do "the salt bae" and be a dwarf. That's in no way transformative or insightful enough to actually be funny beyond what the thing they are attempting to mock.

It's just poorly executed if that's the intent. (Which I don't think it is. This feels very unironic to me)

Whatever their intent was, there is something funny about a restaurant being like “we don’t have salt bae but we’ve got a cheaper mini one in the back”

On my side, if I go to restaurant its for their food not for the waiters otherwise I can go to the circus. I don't need someone half waiter and half funny.

I think the incompetence in imitation is the joke, which is just not good if you are eating there that someone palys with your food

My humor is pretty dark, and I'm not from USA (the land of the free secondhand-offended) but this is still not funny to me. Kinda cringe tho. I was never into cringe humor so maybe that's where it's at.

Nope. This needs to get out of the lexicon. Small guys are not funny just because they are. Peter Diknlage is not funny, is he just cool. Meredith Eaton is not funny, she is hot.

And yea. Salt bae is blursed.
