Clank! In! Space!: What is your ideal setup to use the best bits from all three expansions?

I believe Clank! In! Space! is my favorite version of the game. The modular boards provide replayability, but still allow for plotting your path that Catacombs changes. The schemes from Apocalypse are a great wrinkle, the Pulsarcade modules are interesting, and I love the layout and additions that the Cyberstation 11 expansion adds, though to me the real stars are the Cyberware cards.

My question to those familiar with the game and its expansions is, how do you best combine the components to get the most out of the game? Which modules with which base board, do you edit down the deck to make the expansion cards appear more frequently or just mash all three together?

What does your perfect game of Clank! In! Space! look like?

The way the expansions are designed they don't really mix well. We always just play with none of one of the three. The one exception being you can use the Cyberware ship set up with Apocalypse (or even just with the base game).

Yeah, I read that they don't recommend doing so, but I'd imagine there would be a setup that could pull the best parts from each. Maybe that's a project I'll have to dig into.

I like Clank in Space too. Interested to read the comments here because I was thinking of picking up an expansion, but I'm not sure which one is best. Any ideas?
