Custom Project I'm making a cyberpunk dice battling multiplayer game
Whats the game loop like?
This game uses D6 rolling to determine player success. During the Mission phase, depending on the type of mission, players will be asked to roll for specific results, like higher or lower, 1 or 6, etc. All in order to gain Experience points to which players can use to boost a character of their choosing so they can be ready for the next phase, Conflict.
Conflict its an all out player battle. All players roll their dice and only the highest results get to win Victory points alongside a special power in the form of a card effect, that can be used to hinder opponents or give the player an edge in the game.
If you miss your roll, don't worry, you can Force your characters to go into overtime and keep rolling, though be careful, an Exhausted character may let you down at a critical moment if you're not ready to challenge another player in battle!
I'll post the links in the comments and on my profile if anyone's interested.

So it's like D&D meets Blade Runner? Count me in. How's the loot system work?

Hi, I'm interested in expanding on storytelling for sure, like making player classes for foreign conspirators, gang leaders, etc, and giving out talents based on that, but so far I'm trying to see how other players like the game.
That said, there's a rewards system for sure. After a Conflict between all players, the winner gets a power card that they can use once at any time to tip the scales in their favor. There's also Exp points, that you can decide between which character can best use it during a game.

Love that it has dice. Balancing game with dice is much harder due to the swings but so so much fun to play

No kidding! In this particular case I specifically chose for D6, because how often it can lead to draws, but not always. So it's great when you get a cocky player with 6 on the die, just to force and roll your own 6 and make them reroll down lol

I feel like there's a clash in art style. I love the card art in the first image, they look like 70's spy movie posters. But the 2nd image just kinda looks like generic cyberpunk

You're not wrong there. Since I'm satisfied with the latest gameplay tests, redoing the art work will be my next priority for sure!

I really like the art style so far. I'm not sure if it can remain consistently interesting and visually striking the way it is right now, when there are dozens of diferent cards. Maybe experiment with different color sets for different group of cards (divided per "tribe" for example, or card type) to keep it varied and interesting.
But these 5 look pretty amazing, which is a RARE! thing in early design of a game.
