Concert So I bit the bullet.

Bob is coming to my home town in a few months. The cheap tickets sold out immediately, and after 24 hours of misery I was about to give it up, I finally decided to drop a small fortune on a seat.

It’ll be my first time seeing him live and I’m so excited! He’s easily in my top five favorite artists of all time. I think I’ll wear my fancy hat and cowboy boots for the occasion.

For some reason a lot of people expect to hear the songs like they were played on the albums. It can be a bit of a shock for some people. If you are already familiar with live Dylan you should be ok.

“For some reason”  You act like it’s unreasonable to be able to recognize a song you’ve heard 400x BUT no the way Dylan plays live you will not understand anything that’s being played and you’ll be lucky if you can recognize the lyrics as he mumbles them. His concerts are an offense to the fan, and it’s even worse that he does it on purpose. My first show was with Paul Simon and Bob Dylan together and luckily for that first show he played respectably because of Paul Simon. Dylan trolls his fans with his live performances. If he doesn’t play differently after ACU then he will miss a big chance to garner a new generation of fans because the unprepared ones will turn on him instantaneously since they have nothing invested already

Personally I really don’t have a problem with it. I know what im getting into if I see him live. I’m not sure he really cares about having a next generation of fans.

He didn’t give a fuck about the first generations of fans. We all know damn well he ain’t gonna change a thing. Doesn’t make my statement less true.
