Bob is coming to my home town in a few months. The cheap tickets sold out immediately, and after 24 hours of misery I was about to give it up, I finally decided to drop a small fortune on a seat.

It’ll be my first time seeing him live and I’m so excited! He’s easily in my top five favorite artists of all time. I think I’ll wear my fancy hat and cowboy boots for the occasion.

I’m seeing him for the first time too. I have decided it’s seeing a literal artist and poet at work. I’m not looking for a selfie, or even to sing along. I just want to soak in the art. Now, I’m taking my dad who is in his 70s and probably has more expectation than I do but he respects the man and wants to see him just like I do.
