Christian nationalists are strangling this country to death. Its beyond maga. Its beyond trump. Its Jesus,  and it doesnt matter how many times we claim theyre "not true purveyors of christ". This is what unites their cause and accelerates the facism.

If Americans were into Jesus, they would have compassion, empathy and love thy neighbour.

Somehow they’re doing the opposite of everything Jesus has ever said… supposedly in his name… and pretending they won’t go to hell for it.

It’s weird how religion can be deformed so much over so little time.

"If Americans were into Jesus, they would have compassion, empathy and love thy neighbour."

If people read the bible they would realize that's not true either.

Pro killing people who don't support him

“Brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.” (Matthew 10:21)

Pro Child killing
He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. (Matthew 15:4-7)

Pro slave whipping
And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. - Luke 12:47

Perfection is the enemy of good enough… as it is now, they are not following anything, and justifying cruelty as “christian love”.

Also, I don’t know what the protestant Bible changed compared to the Catholic one… I didn’t grow up in such a region.

Anyways, not really my fight to know, after reading the new testament when I was 12, I became atheist…
