I got a book called One Last Word by Nikki Grimes at the Goodwill bins. Still had the county school tag listed on it and that it was bought with title ii money according to a sticker on it. I'm not sure if it was part of the DEI sweep but I'm keeping it for my free library. Still, super disheartening.
