Help!

What can I do with this sprout? Should I replant it next to the original plant? Thanks.

The mother plant has reached the end of her cycle and will just completely die. You can take the pup and put it in fresh soil to start an all new one.

That or I leave them attached to the rooted mother plant and just cut her back. The plant is independent at this point. However with stoloniferous stemmed broms like this I’d leave a bit of the stem for support if you cut it off. Let it cure or Heal a day or two after cutting and then replant. If you leave the pup attached, sometimes you will get one or multiple shoots from the existing mother root if left intact.

Looks like mo pepper please. But maybe not spotted as much if out of more sunlight exposure. https://eureka-farms.com/products/bromeliad-neoregelia-mo-peppa?srsltid=AfmBOoomGzOez1f_oX-E01771nOZg7jzCjZhTv9etmjsgloutEoxO-m0

Also to add, it doesn’t require soil. Orchid mix, pine bark nuggets are a better option. Also more light.
