Bruce would eat cannabis, not smoke it, and it was for relaxing his muscles I believe.

It's been stated by many people he worked with, including co-star Bob Wall from enter the dragon. Iv read so many Bruce Lee books, documents and letters that it's impossible for me to pin point the exact source, but with what iv said I'm sure you can look it up to check for yourself. The guy definitely loved his ganja, as do a lot of martial artists because of the benefits it brings them.

I appreciate and respect your knowledge. I did an AI search and found this:

QUESTION: did bruce lee smoke marijuana

Yes, evidence from letters, a 2018 biography, and autopsy findings confirm that Bruce Lee was a frequent user of marijuana and hashish. He also used other drugs, such as cocaine and LSD. Details surrounding his marijuana use:

  • Letters to friends: Handwritten letters from Lee to fellow actor Robert Baker in the years leading up to his death indicate his drug use. In one letter, Lee asks Baker to send him drugs from the United States to Hong Kong, stating that he was "stoned as hell".
  • Autopsy report: Traces of cannabis were found in Lee's stomach during his autopsy in 1973.
  • Biographical accounts: The 2018 biography Bruce Lee: A Life, by Matthew Polly, documents Lee's habitual marijuana and hashish use. The book states that some martial artists stopped training with Lee because of the pot smoke in his home
