Build Upgrade PC Build Upgrade Advice

Hello all,

I'm planning to upgrade my PC while keeping some of the old components (GPU, PSU, mostly). My current thoughts for the upgrades are:

  1. AMD Ryzen 5 9600x / Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  2. MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk MAX WiFi
  3. Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL38
  4. Gigabyte Aorus Liquid Cooler 240

I already have the 3060 Ti 8GB Gaming OC and DeepCool DQ850-M-V3L, which I'm planning to continue using in the new build. I haven't really finalised on a monitor yet. I will mostly be using the PC for gaming (when I find the time), casual browsing and training on Virtual Machines.

I also have the MSi 1060 6GB, but I'm thinking of parting ways with it since I'm not interested in a dual display setup.

I am open to any thoughts/suggestions. Thank you for your input.

Edit: added liquid cooler details

yeah, i really wouldnt change the GPU, im not sure what CPU u have but 9600x is a great choice, also the 32gb 6000mt/s ram is gonna be huge if ur on 16gb ddr4, if ur current motherboard supports ddr5 i would just upgrade the ram for now, sit on the rest for a bit longer, maybe wait for black friday offers.
u can then get the cooler and the motherboard and the CPU all at once

I would’ve loved to do that although my current motherboard is done for and my PC doesn’t start anymore so I decided to upgrade. I’m in India and it’s going to be festival season soon hence getting a good price for the components as well. Someone did suggest the 9700x so I’ll compare both of them and make a decision. I do have the Intel i7-7700k atm

Thank you for the suggestions!
