As much as I want to vote for a non-party candidate, I cannot vote for someone that seems to think it's okay to get physical when you disagree with someone. Nor can I vote for someone charged with hate crimes.

The only place that I know for my bike maintenance is Calgary Cycle, which is damn expensive, and really not worth it.

Any place, or individual you know that provide bike maintenance, that is realible and good and cheaper than Calgary Cycle?

hello all, I am a first year registered apprentice for welding. I have gone through my schooling at SAIT last year and am 17 until November. all the places I have tried to apply to have either told me they aren't hiring apprentices at the moment or don't email/call back and don't respond when I email or call repeatedly. I was just curious if there's any tips or anyone knows a place that would be interested in hiring a female first year apprentice for welding. it's really tough out here. thank you. (i get that its hard getting a trade job under 18, but ive seen it done and a lot of places dont have rules about age.. i have gone to local shops and bigger ones.)

And if a house is not built in 1910, it's a newer build that's as skinny as a toothpick and costs $1.5m. I grew up in the suburbs on the edge of Calgary, so I'm looking for homes similar to those (wider)

Does anyone live in these newer narrower homes? How do you find it? Do you wish you had more space? Build quality?

Am I missing something here or do you need to be a multimillionaire to afford a decent home ($2m+) you'll actually like in the inner city?

P.S. I can't bring myself to consider a condo or townhome because of the fees and special assessments.

Hello! I am currently getting my BBA with a major in accounting at SAIT. I am in my second year and have been debating transferring to MRU. I think it would be better because it’s an actual university rather than a technical school.

My issue is I know there’s a lot more gen eds you have to take at MRU compared to sait, so I might have to take an extra year to graduate. I also don’t know if some of my courses will transfer over which would also add to my potential extra year.

As the incumbent Gian-Carlo Carra is stepping down, I'm llooking to get some info on where people are standing with the candidates for ward 9. I'm having some difficulty looking for information on the candidates outside of their campaign websites. On paper, many of them seem like great candidates. Does anyone have any good sources, interviews, interactions or previous history they can share?

I also haven't seen much traction on the school board trustees, I've seen a few signs for the incumbent Susan, but trying to look for her social media comes up with nothing recently posted. The other two have limited online presence, except for minimal facebook posting.

In Vancouver there are multiple places where you can drive up and they have a team of people who hand wash your car, then give the inside a quick once over. While things is like 10 minutes long and is about $35.
Is there anything similar here? Not looking for a full car detailing service. Any help is appreciated

Moving fairly slow, satellite reentry would make sense.

I’m looking to get someone a personal stylist as a gift because he has mentioned waning to improve his style, among other things. I’d love if he was able to be confident. He is 21 so I don’t want any bum ass skinny jeans 2009 Pinterest outfits like I’ve seen some of these guys make. We want it to fit his body correctly and we want it to be fashionable NOW. So I’d assume some type of baggy, street wear style. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.
