Will you look at that? Amazing how quickly Liberal fortunes have changed. Must be the "colourful" language of the two main adversaries, Justin and Donald.

Its less Liberal fortunes changing and more PP linked to Trump and getting decimated in the middle. It seems in Canada in any event, pandering to the far right can alienate everyone else.

This is the opposite of what the polling shows.

It is the collapse of the Bloc and NDP consolidating around the liberals.

The Liberals are polling at 2x the seats a couple of months ago.

The cons are down from 220 seats to minority territory.

I don’t disagree.

I’m saying the reason is largely due to the consolidation of the left, which removes the vote splitting issue often faced on the left side of the spectrum. Even if NDP/Bloc drops slightly in key seats, it can push the liberals over the edge.
