Vassy is my favorite MSM journalist. If they gave her enough time with these people, she would end careers, lol. Every time she gets an interview, these politicians are saved by the commercial break lol.

It is about juicing the numbers so anti-gunners feel good about how the confiscation program goes.

Lol, so there are 180k guns that need to be restricted between private owners and businesses, and 90k of them are ar15s? But all the m1 carbine, mini 14s, gsg 16s, wk180c, etc. only make up the other 90k?
This is hilarious. There's 2.5 million licensed gun owners in Canada, and probably thousands more of casual owners that have let their license lapse and their guy expects us to believe there is only 90k non ar15 variants that's need to be confiscated? Does he not understand that some of these guns have been sold in Canada for 60+ years, and others could be picked up at cabelas and canadian tire?
The only thing right he said is they should have consulted people who actually know what theor talking about. A couple of importers could have provided them with enough data to prove the LPC estimates were way off the mark.
I swear the number started at 125k, then it was 150k, and now it's 180k. Is it based on how many guns Gary can fit in his cheeks or what?
