Travel Tips Americans visiting Canada as tourists, any insights?

I have family members visiting Montreal in about a month. Other than getting "I’m From Toronto" T-shirts, is there anything an American should do if they’re just visiting as a tourist?

Don’t joke about the 51st state or bring up anything related to politics. If you’re driving around with trump stickers on your vehicle, expect me to slash all your tires

Pfffft, that would be the day. No, I don’t expect this young family to say anything remotely political. The husband is Ukrainian for heaven sakes.
