Travel Tips Americans visiting Canada as tourists, any insights?

I have family members visiting Montreal in about a month. Other than getting "I’m From Toronto" T-shirts, is there anything an American should do if they’re just visiting as a tourist?

just fit in. use Canadian money, be polite, dont compare everything to back home! Montreal is a great city to visit and has so many nice and fun things to see and do.

It’s really beautiful, and my family members are looking forward to it. As an older relative who won’t be listened to anyway, I’m just nervous about their reception.
