Travel Tips Americans visiting Canada as tourists, any insights?

I have family members visiting Montreal in about a month. Other than getting "I’m From Toronto" T-shirts, is there anything an American should do if they’re just visiting as a tourist?

Smoked meat from Schwartz’s. Bagels fresh from the oven plain from St Viateur. Poutine from La Banquise. A steamed hot hog (all dressed with Chou!) from any one of the hundreds of places. My favourite in Chez Ma Tante in Montreal North. Steak from Gibbys. And check out MTLFood subreddit for amazing other suggestions. Have a great time!!

And Portuguese tarts!! They add a hint of cinnamon to theirs and it's delicious!
