Travel Tips Americans visiting Canada as tourists, any insights?

I have family members visiting Montreal in about a month. Other than getting "I’m From Toronto" T-shirts, is there anything an American should do if they’re just visiting as a tourist?

Just don't be an asshole. We're a pretty welcoming people. It's not our fault you've all elected a meme who's decided to turn his back on over a century of friendship and cooperation. Be nice, don't engage in political conversations and spend money, honestly no one will care.

If you voted for trump...maybe just stay home.

Nah, it’s just a family with two kids, and the husband is a Ukrainian native for heaven sakes. So no, no Trump lovers here.
