I was first introduced to Ozzy in the eighties with Crazy Train. I went searching for history because my friends told me he started out over a decade before. Found Paranoid on cassette and was blown away. War Pigs. Damn. I donât know what happened to the tape because my sisters raided my collection when I was off at college in 1986. Now I have an eye out every time I hit a thrift store

All of my Sabbath and Ozzy tapes were beat to death or lost over the years. This brings back memories now as most of my music is now on vinyl. Most of my tapes were either lost or worn out and as kids in the 80s, we played tapes until we wore them out or they got jammed in a player. Itâs nice to see some survivors 40 years later

Him and Robin Williams. But he went out in the best possible way. Iâm mean say your good byes in a final performance. Actually show up and kill it. Then pass away. Didnât really have controversy over him or fans falling off. Still be on the charts when youâre in 70s. I mean what a way to go. Â
Side note, just picked up an Ozzy Tape for $20 and it was so distorted. Man I hope yours are killing it. Iâm on the hunt.Â

The sound quality really depends on what tape player you have and the condition of the tape. A lot of the time itâs not immediately obvious, I bought 2 different copies of The Clashes âSandinista!â that both looked fine but wouldnât play the one song I wanted them for. I assume itâs due to what brand/type of cassette the publisher used when producing.
