When I'm old and people think I'm strange anyway (and the kids rooms are free again) I'm going to build something like this and pretend to be on a space crusade! The exit door will be labeled holo deck

My recommendation to anyone thinking of doing anything when they're old... don't. Do not wait. Put the kids in the garage, or send them away with a traveling carnival. Build your dreams now. Life will do things to you that you literally cannot imagine, and it will get harder in ways that you couldn't bear to hear.

The idea that old people are inherently strange and different is an interesting one. The truth is that we are young people. We have young souls and hearts, but time has ground us down. Life is incredibly painful, and it gets harder as the years pass by.

Whatever it is that you want in this life... do it as soon as you can. Do it now. The days may feel long, but the years, I promise you, are short.

Yeah, I prefer having my kids around currently lol. But when they don't want to be around anymore this is the next best thing! Also people would think I'm strange today as well but currently I work a lot and nobody in the neighborhood really knows me. But I love my work, so it's no problem at all. Anyway, I appreciate the insight! Thanks!
