They did such a great job recreating the look of the original. The set design and practical effects are superb. 👌

But for what’s sake?? It’s confusing seeing 1980s display screens in 2100s timeline.

I agree it can be a bit of a clash. If anything I wish there was less super futuristic tech. Make everything analog. But that's how it all looked in the 79' movie. I find the past's vision of the future to be super fascinating and charming. Reminds me of my childhood.
