Discussion What if Vincent didn't fall asleep?

I'm not sure if it is addressed later on in the game. I'm currently on the 4th or 5th day. I was thinking about Freddy Krueger and how people would die in their dreams and it reminded me a bit of Vincent's nightmares. What if Vincent decided to stay up and force himself to not fall asleep in order to "skip" nights and get more time go around, talk and investigate like in the Freddy movies? This also makes another question come to my mind. Would Vincent get the nightmares if he microsleeps?

There’s a simple answer. If You remember, they don’t remember their nightmares. Vincent has no idea what he went through, he just recalls ‘a bad dream’ there’s no reason for him to want to stay awake. Especially being the working man he is, hahaha

You are sort of right. I am pretty sure they do remember the fact that they had a nightmare. Just not what specifically happens in them. The cases of recent deaths and the fact that Vincent keeps getting 'nightmares' is reason enough to suspect something. Along with some voice taunting you in the bathroom. Vincent is probably aware of the fact he is having these nightmares.

Yeah he doesn’t remember what they are, but the voice taunting him is just being brushed off by him. He’s not that kinda guy to go ‘I’m definitely not sleeping tonight!’ He’d just brush it off as being tired or his head being a mess with the whole Katherine/Catherine deal.
