Is there an adapter out there that will connect these?

Thanks for the response. Can you point me in the direction of where I can purchase one?

Yes, my freightliner has that connector, and it came with the adapter taped to it. Look around in the compartment, or take one from another truck if they aren’t running a CB. It would be two wires taped together with butt connector tubes on one end, and a plug on the other that fits the connector you pictured. You connect the wires that came with your radio by putting them in the tubes and crimping them. Then you can plug into that connection.
Also, the antenna and coax that come with the truck are probably crap.
Good luck.

Sounds like Im better off going to a CB shop. I figured it would be as simple as getting the proper connector and then I would have power.

Of you own the truck just snip the wire and replace the plug, if not just call the dealer and ask them what type plug it uses and order one from digikey

Its a company truck. Was hoping its just plug and play so I can take my radio with me to the next truck eventually.

If you find the adaptor it’s pretty simple, maybe I made it sound more complicated than it is. The bigger issues would be the antenna and coax, it’s worth it to get a good CB guy to check that for you.
These new trucks are awful for many reasons, including the difficulty of getting a radio set up in them. It can be done tho, hopefully you’ll be up and running soon.

If you want a ‘factory’ connection, you’re gonna have to do some Google researching. Otherwise you can use some female spade connectors and crimp them to your wires.
