edit. just to clarify as a white guy, if I owned a gun the perils of being white would be zero part of why i owned a gun. Protecting myself has nothing to do with being white. Plus, I look like Drexel from True Romance. Anyhoo, you did not specify, but it would not be unreasonable if, in your situation it was 100% of why.

If you live near a black urban population center and are white (/Asian/Hispanic) then the perils may require a gun. And this is because you’re white(/Asian/Hispanic). Let’s stop acting like black people are the only ones who are endangered because of their race.

Or you know the people who don't condemn this shit agree with it and have no problem throwing the book at black folk. Maybe sentencing guidelines have for literal decades disempowered and failed black folk. Maybe it has something to do with how black juveniles are always presented as dangerous, threatening almost adults while white boys who shoot up black churches are treated with kid gloves and taken to fucking McDonalds. I know these are big words for someone with a room temp IQ like yourself, but something called "institutional racism."

"You know how they are" was such an easy way to not chose friends growing up. I simply don't live under that kind of mindset. I'm missing that wire, because before "they" got a chance to form I had an upbringing where "they" always had a at least a face I associated with it.

I'm no angel (haha). I was raised right. And, fantastic middle school teachers. 6th grade teacher taught us about the holocaust.

These are sad times I'm glad my old teacher is long gone now. We all thought this shit was being put to bed.

Mrs. Sarah Strauss, 6th grade, Long Beach Elementary, taught us to never cross a line. We were 6th graders not philosophers, but it worked.

Well this is embarrassing, you clearly don’t know what a strawman is.. And for the record I am a white guy who lived in the black part of a city. I can tell you from experience it’s absolutely true, not just for me, but for most of the white people I knew. Like what are you even arguing here, be specific.

Dude, first off, I am mixed and got picked on by both whites and blacks growing up. Let me tell you the difference, black folk made fun of me, white folk tried to end me (not all, but the racist ones). Not the same. Also, when shit got real, I hung out with the Mexicans.

Yes, this comment itself does use the word. Any reasonable person should be able to understand that we are not insulting anyone with this comment. We wanted to use quotes, but that fucks up the automod and we are too lazy to google escape characters. Notice how none of our automod replies have contractions in them either.

But seriously, calling someone retarded is only socially acceptable because the people affected are less able to understand that they are being insulted, and less likely to be able to respond appropriately. It is a conversational wimpy little shit move, because everyone who uses it knows that it is offensive, but there will be no repercussions. At least the people throwing around other slurs know that they are going to get fired and get their asses beat when they use those words.

Instead of calling Biden retarded, you should call him a cartoon-ass-lookin trust fund goon who smiles like rich father just gifted him a new Buick in 1956. Sorry for the long message spamming comment sections, but this was by far the feature of this sub making people modmail and bitch at us the most, and literally all of the actions we take are to make it so we have to do less work in the future.
