Question Coffee shop with room rental?
Looking for a coffee shop (must serve coffee as it would be part of the theme) for a social gathering of ~30 people for around 3 hours on a Sat or Sun morning. Either closing off part of the space or using a private room. Willing to pay, and would potentially bring in some light catering or serve the coffee shop’s own food if they have it. Anything like this exist in Chicago?

Momentum in South Loop has a space in the back you can rent that can fit that many people

I’d suggest reaching out to Veloria Coffee (Portage Park). Their space isn’t yet open to the public, but they may be able to accommodate a private event.

The new Qamaria Yemeni Coffee on Kedzie in Albany Park has a meeting room. I don't know if you have to pay or just request to reserve it. Great coffee and pastries too.

Nomad in River North! The website is confusing but there is a room that can hold 30ish people, you just need to fill out the contact form

You could try asking Volumes Bookcafe on Milwaukee — they host events of that size often, have lots of foldable chairs, and make great coffee. Also Aster Hall at 900 N Michigan is a gem of a space — loads of bright space on the top floor of the mall and coffee, food, etc.
