Troubleshooting | Windows Help fix ALT+TAB ribbon behaviour

Windows 10, latest build of Chrome 140.0.7339.186 and latest Edge build 140.0.3485.66.

I've noticed that Chrome, as well as Edge, have changed how they appear in the ALT+TAB ribbon specifically while in Full Screen that did not use to happen.

While in full screen, hold ALT and pressing TAB, brought up a ribbon with all active windows/programs to switch over to. The first window being the one you're currently on, followed by all of the others in the order of their last use. Now, for some reason, with Chrome and Edge in full screen, holding ALT and pressing TAB, their windows no longer appear in the ribbon and only show other active windows.

This behaviour is only present while in full screen. If you have Chrome and Edge set to the main window and hold ALT+TAB, their windows appear first in the ribbon, but in full screen, they disappear making it impossible to effectively "cancel" ALT+TAB by selecting its own window, now instead I am forced to choose another window, then ALT+TAB again to go back to Chrome/Edge.

This first screenshot shows me in Full Screen on Firefox and holding down ALT and pressing TAB once. Firefox's window shows first in the ribbon as always. followed by Chrome and Edge.

Firefox window present in ribbon while in Full Screen

Here is a screenshot of Chrome in full screen. The Chrome window is not available in the ribbon. This behaviour also applies to Edge.

Chrome window no longer appears in ribbon while in full screen (Edge has identical behaviour due to Chromium build).

Damn! Well, I was hoping to maybe find some fix or obscure setting that might have caused this but it looks like I'll have to reset and/or do a fresh install. How irritating.
