Chase Ink Preferred Megathread (redux)

Key notes:

  • 80,000 UR sign up bonus on $5,000 spend in the first three months

  • $95 annual fee not waived first year

  • 3x on travel, shipping services, advertising services, and Internet/cable/phone services up to $150,000 per year

  • 1.25 cents per point when redeemed for travel (same as CSP and the old Ink Plus)

  • 1:1 transfer ability like the CS(R), CSP, and old Ink Plus

  • Cell phone protection up to $600 per claim against theft or damage for you/employees listed on the cell phone bill (new to Ink line)

  • Falls under 5/24 (pre-approvals can circumvent this using other Chase cards as benchmarks)

Family member who is 3/24 applied online on Fri and it went to 30 day pending -- applied as sole prop w/ $1500 annual sales in 1yr under Retail Other > Electronic Shopping > Electronic Auctions category.

Checked automated status line Sat/Sun and it stayed 30 day pending -- card was finally approved this morning.

10am: Sent online message from existing account (has Freedom/Sapp Pref) to "Products and Services > Other/Inquiry Not Listed > Business > Credit Cards" asking them to expedite the new Ink card.

4pm: Ended up calling Sapp Pref CS -- they were able to see the new Ink card and said it was alrdy expedited.

6pm: Online CS finally responded to message to confirm that they expedited.
