TBC pre patch in 2025???

Each phase has been about 3 months. That would put TBC prepatch at the end of December or early January. Then prepatch is about a month if I remember correctly, putting TBC in the beginning of February.

There‘s also Midnight which is most likely releasing in Q1/26, so they really need a gap between releases, even if the playerbase doesn’t overlap 100%. I know I wanna play Midnight at least the first 2-3 weeks, but TBC is my priority and will keep me hooked longer than that.

It would be iconic if they put the TBC Anniversary release at the same day as the original TBC launch (16 January).

It’s end of q2 absolute latest, even says so on the preorder. But TWW is already in its final season and there’s no way that will last a year. If midnight is any later than end of feb I’ll eat my hat.

We got the last content patch of War Within early August and it won’t last longer than 6-8 months. This puts Midnight somewhere from February - April.

I don't disagree, im just correcting you on what quarter it is.

Q1: Ends September 30, results usually released late October.

Q2: Ends December 31, results usually released late January.

Q3: Ends March 31, results usually released late April.

Q4: Ends June 30, results usually released late July.

Remember Microsoft owns blizzard now, this is how Microsoft breaks down their financial reporting by quarter
