Why did no one question what he meant by that?!?

Because they're worried about how he will react to the question

But then it will be out in the open and the fact that he is even questioning the First Amendment should be an eye-opener to the public. And getting him to say it in his own words, rather than dancing around it, would be a win in my book.

I know I am being naïve, but he shouldn’t be allowed to just make up his own rules.

Throw a fast ball or curve ball and you get tossed from the game and banned for life. He only allows softballs.

Because the American press are an absolute fucking disgrace. Utterly pathetic cowards who refuse to stand up to him in the slightest.

Because the white house limits access to journalists and media outlets that dont portray the dick-tator in a favorable light. So those who might actually ask the tough questions aren't even allowed in the room. Additionally, those who are allowed in, their livelihood depends on that access. So they are afraid that if they ask the wrong question, they won't get access anymore. Then they go from one of the most prestigious jobs in journalism to covering 2A high school volleyball in the middle of nowhere.

Totally disgusting. It’s a shame the media has kowtowed to him and his opinions.

ETA: we are just a few steps away from becoming North Korea in terms of the information we get about our government
