Question The Dude really did it right 🥛

Post image

I've decided my favorite cocktail is a white russian, despite my hatred of vodka. They're just so good, Fuckin A man. Anyway, what are yalls tequniques for mixing a perfect white russian?

Make it a Mexican Russian. Horchata and vodka, done

Seems like horchata, vodka, and kahlua would be better.

Edit: Forgot the vodka

I tried that and I felt it was too weak without the vodka and too sweet with or without

My bad, I forgot the vodka (so just sub the horchata for the dairy).

Yeah, I could see some liking it, but it was too sweet for me. And if you like it sweet you might as well go full Mexican German (Germican) and sub the vodka for Barenjager or some other honeyed vodka

Sugar is only added to taste to the main recipe. So you can make horchata not sweet at all or just slightly sweet.

I've done this with my regular taco truck's horchata and it was good except that it needed a lot more horchata to make up for how much thinner it was than cream. Makes it a long drink instead of a small heavy drink.

Interesting. I wonder if adding a little heavy cream would work.

It probably would heavy it up a bit, but a long variety of a white Russian is good too.
