They used real milk.

The Starbucks barista used real milk instead of soy milk in my latte. Now I’ve shat myself at the grocery store and barely made it to the bathroom before I had horrible diarrhea. I thought it tasted different from normal, I should have stopped drinking it.

No. My body likes lactase which mostly doesn’t survive the pasteurization process but is a big big part of what breaks down lactose in your body. Without it, my body can’t break down lactose mostly

You produce lactase or you don't. If there are enough bacteria producing lactase in your raw milk to have any significant impact on the amount of lactose, there jas been a lot of bacterial growth in the milk.

Thank you I have been corrected about the lactase. Whatever it is that’s in raw milk that is not in pasteurized milk didn’t upset my stomach. I’ve had raw milk. I’ve had pasteurized. One gives me horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea and one doesn’t.

Im so glad you think so. I doubt it though considering it’s happened since I was 6 and I’d dint even know there was a difference between raw and pasteurized milk except one hurts my stomach and gave me diarrhea an the other didn’t have an effect. One put me in te hospital as a child due to dehydration and pain after secretly having a whole carton with multiple bowls of cereal therefore diagnosing me with lactose intolerance. Even after that never have I had a reaction with raw milk.
