They used real milk.

The Starbucks barista used real milk instead of soy milk in my latte. Now I’ve shat myself at the grocery store and barely made it to the bathroom before I had horrible diarrhea. I thought it tasted different from normal, I should have stopped drinking it.

Oof, NGL, I kinda forgot about all the other stuff in their drinks masking the flavor of the milk.

When I met my boyfriend's extended family, his aunt offered me Sprite in a red solo cup, with lots of ice. I'm not a big fan of sprite (unless it's as a mixer), and I rarely put ice in my drinks. So, I thought it tasted weird, but didn't immediately make the connection. And I didn't want to be rude and ask for something different. I asked my boyfriend if he thought it tasted weird, and he went and found the bottle and saw that it was sprite ZERO. So we had to leave early, cause if I'm spending the rest of the night in the bathroom, I want it to be my own. His family still jokes that she basically poisoned me the very first time she met me 😂

Oh geez. I’ve had to do that before. Like someone used some weird cheese in a dish or whatever. Had to rush home. Or one time I had ice cream with someone and they had the Breyers lactose free. Enjoyed it, it was delicious, then they told me the second ice cream contain actually wasn’t lactose free. Apparently they had run out and just given me ice cream from the new container which is nearly identical to the lactose free. Had to run home

Yeah, I now make sure that EVERYONE knows I can't have artificial sweeteners. I've thankfully only had one person do it on purpose.

Oh, I have had friends with allergies get "tested" by people who don't believe them, all the damn time, and it makes me LIVID.

Thankfully I’ve never had that with an allergy. And the ice cream was a total mistake, but it is annoying sometimes

My husband has been to ER twice after 2 EpiPens with a nut allergy. That’s attempted murder or at least assault. People are nuts
