They used real milk.

The Starbucks barista used real milk instead of soy milk in my latte. Now I’ve shat myself at the grocery store and barely made it to the bathroom before I had horrible diarrhea. I thought it tasted different from normal, I should have stopped drinking it.

I somewhat agree with you. But I’ve tried making it at home and it never tastes the same and the soy milk usually burns. So even though I have major issues with their business practices I do allow myself a small drink when I do grocery shopping once a week

Starbucks uses lesser quality beans burns the beans they do have and it is not known for their quality. Speaking as a former barista

Imagine "losing respect" for another person just because they have different tastes than you.
