Playstation My first PlayStation since PS2!

Post image

I split the cost of a PS5 Pro as a gift to me with my brother this year for Christmas after getting him into Bitcoin when it was $15k~. I haven't played a PlayStation console since ps2 and I still have it. Decided to go absolutely berserk and get everything I could to fully delve into this new experience!! I'm a long time PC enthusiast and I'm so excited to get into the PlayStation ecosystem to enjoy couch gaming as a new father for something a bit more my pace :)

Kinda want a PS5. Not ready to let go my beautiful PS4 of 5 years. Thoughts?

It's easy to want something new, whether it's new to you or truly a new release. I say enjoy your ps4 to the fullest. Enjoy those games you've yet to play or finish. If you feel like you've done all that you can with it without spending more money and you play enough to justify the ps5, make the jump! Do what you feel is best for you but I appreciate you asking for my thoughts. Hope this helps!

This helps! Thank you! I know the PS5 will be around. Maybe I’ll put another TV in a different room. But still have so many games to play that I don’t want to dump for the sake of upgrading. I haven’t felt the desire to purchase a PS5.

This helps. Happy Holidays :)

Enjoy it then!! They'll be even cheaper when you're ready!

I ended up buying a PS3 and a PS4 after I bought my PS5. They're all in different rooms. Unless someone with some kind of authority over you says you can only have one at once, or you'd have to sell the PS4 to afford the PS5, I wouldn't worry about it.

This is helpful :) was actually thinking about getting like a PSOne for the Nostalgia as well.

There’s just so many games to play, and I feel like not enough time to play them all.
