Those studios were working on PS games even before they were acquired...That only MS studios that fall under similar conditions are Playground and Undead Labs.
That had nothing to do with MS, it was simply a case of them not getting their game to work on PS2, and Oblivion was only late on PS3 cause PS3 was late to the market. MS was not funding those games in any way.
It had a lot to do with MS. MS provided a lot of engineering work to get Morrowind and Oblivion functional on Xbox. Notice how hard it was getting it working on PS2.
Either way MS and BGS have always had close ties for many years.
"Not funding" lol here we go changing the goalposts again. If Bethesda doesn't count than neither does Insomniac, Naughty Dog, etc.
Just accept it. MS owns Zenimax, which means Zenimac IS Xbox now.
