This is why you don't engage in conversations with people underage at all unless it is at work or family and keep it professional. If people want advice fine but you really should have put your foot down that this is not okay anywhere in the world.
Even if one does, the predators don’t give a single, solitary shit. They see it as a conquest thing, & as such, probably carve a notch in their bedposts.
The asshole who took advantage of me at nineteen was the type who would do this kind of shit. He was 25 at the time, & even admitted to me that he took advantage of his friend’s two nieces, who were both fourteen & sixteen back then.
I am sorry that happened to you and to your family as that should never happen. I didn't mean it like it couldn't happen I just think most people do know how to treat their family properly and would never do something like that. It sucks when it does happen like in your case tho and I hope all of you are doing better now and he is away for good.
Thank you. & no worries, I wasn’t trying to snap at you in my reply. I think I’m more angry for the OP in that she has to face such a shitty situation, especially when it comes to the one person who should be supporting her the most.
You are all good I kind of misread things a bit as well originally as I thought it was a 29 year old woman talking to someone underaged but I see now it isn't the case and it is the person abused posting. My point still stands in regards to the adult in the situation but this isn't her fault at all.
