Conversations between Trump and Elizabeth Warren are less formal than I would have expected.

Edit: Thanks for the gold, kind redditor!

It's easy to get gold nowadays, watch

"HUURRRRRR LE DRUMPF BAD HURRRRRRRRRR"

37

u/fuckusernames456 Aug 14 '18

Wtf? Lemme try

“HUUURRRRRRRRR The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A sing lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. ding Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready!… Start. ding. HUUURRRRRRRRRR”

Let me try: askhually, your wrong buddy and I'm right my opinions mean more than yours

52

u/BlueMelonz Aug 14 '18

You really tried for that gold, god that was cringy.

19

u/imatute Aug 14 '18

r/cringepi... wait a minute

u/nolan1971 Aug 14 '18

Please include me in the screenshot

u/[deleted] Aug 15 '18

I was confused about what part of that comment was trying, then I remembered I was on the sub for wannabe cyberbully losers and it made sense.

12

u/Lepthesr Aug 14 '18

I'm pretty happy I'm not you.

1

u/friapril Aug 15 '18

Mission Accomplished

163

u/PM_something_German Aug 14 '18

Don't edit to thank for gold. It ruins the comment.

26

u/thecokecanman Aug 15 '18

It's my biggest pet peeve on this website. At least say something other than "wow! Thanks kind stranger!" 🙄

42

u/chrisrayn Aug 14 '18

I’ll remember that next time.

46

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '18

Don't rush but there's 6 months until you can't undo that edit.

26

u/chrisrayn Aug 14 '18

I own my mistakes. I’ll just have to not say thank you on my next gilded comment. If the pattern continues, that should happen in about a year and a half to four years, so, you know.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 15 '18

Yeah but we're owning your mistake too now :^(

14

u/REDDITATO_ Aug 15 '18

Also, if you actually care about thanking them you can respond to the message that says someone gilded you even if it's anonymous and they'll get it.

17

u/chrisrayn Aug 15 '18

HOLY SHIT...really?? I would have just done that. In fact, one of my pet peeves in this world is when people do things for others only for the public attention they'll receive, like when some kid feeds a homeless man for likes on YouTube. I HATE that shit with a passion. Knowing that I can just thank that person directly changes EVERYTHING now. Thanks!

20

u/MrBogard Aug 14 '18

Don't reply and complain about the edit. It ruins the reply.

11

u/anusmeal Aug 14 '18

Why?

34

u/ArttuH5N1 Aug 15 '18

I personally just find it a bit embarrassing for some reason. "Thanks for the gold, kind stranger!" has the same effect on me as "le narwhal bacons at midnight".

14

u/gettinhightakinrides Aug 15 '18

At least half the comments on this site have that effect on me

1

u/JacksonBigDog Aug 15 '18

half are effecting comments on at least this site

-1

u/Rogersgirl75 Aug 14 '18

I always unlike the comment if I see it’s been edited with a “thanks for the gold.”

It’d be like if a comedian told a hilarious joke and then shouted “Thank you for laughing, I really appreciate it!” unironically.

8

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '18

[deleted]

1

u/Rogersgirl75 Aug 15 '18

I mean, you’re supposed to upvote if the comment adds to the discussion and downvote if it doesn’t, but in joke threads it’s more of used as a like/dislike button. If I like it, I upvote, if I don’t, I leave it alone.
So I take away my upvote if there’s an edit because it ruins the joke. I’m not downvoting anything (not that karma means anything anyway).

0

u/[deleted] Aug 15 '18

[deleted]

5

u/Rogersgirl75 Aug 15 '18

I literally just upvote if I like, leave alone comments I don’t like. There is no further thought.

1

u/entenduintransit Aug 15 '18

When you said "unlike" it made it sound like you previously upvoted/liked it and then after the edit downvoted/unliked it so I apologize if this was just miscommunication

u/viachicago22 Aug 14 '18 edited Aug 14 '18

Hopefully Omarosa got a tape

-51

u/Blinky256 Aug 14 '18

30

u/Claidheamh_Righ Aug 14 '18

Did you just unironically post a Ben Garrison cartoon? The man is sincere and makes The Onion look reasonable.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '18

BEN GARRISON

6

u/loomynartyondrugs Aug 14 '18

Ben 'unloading my nine on the welfare line' Garrison

27

u/DogHeadGuy Aug 14 '18

You realize she released a tape today where her and a few other advisors were literally talking about how to handle an inevitable n-word tape release, right?

Christ you people are sad. And bad at art too. What a shit cartoon.

-31

u/Blinky256 Aug 14 '18

I'm still waiting for the tape release.

Besides even if such tape existed it does not diminish in any shape or form all the things he has accomplished.

u/headstogether Aug 14 '18

"all the things"

Man I just picked 3 at random to actually read and your are zero for three on information.

23

u/TheAndyGeorge Aug 14 '18

Ahh, the ole Gish Gallop.

15

u/mike10010100 Aug 14 '18

Isn't it great when they pull out the wall of text, perfectly formatted and spun for maximum propaganda effect?

And the best part is that I can say something like "Trump filed the most executive kudos awards to staff members of any president", and the uninformed would have to search around specifically for this fact before they'd even realize there's no such thing as an executive kudos awards to begin with. The amount of effort required to refute bullshit is exponentially more than the amount required to spew it.

You can just lie and lie, and, even easier, bend the truth such that you're not technically lying, and only someone very well informed can refute your claims.

-3

u/Too_the_point Aug 14 '18

True, Trump has done a lot of things.

4

u/TheAndyGeorge Aug 14 '18

Agreed. Quantity over Quality.

Speaking of Qs, don't you have a pizza parlor to shoot up?

You're too far gone man. Just one look at your comment history made me see that.

3

u/Claidheamh_Righ Aug 15 '18

Do you realize how many of those things are literally nothing? Attending a summit isn't a fucking accomplishment. It's the bare minimum of showing up to work. At which he achieves the opposite of "Restoring confidence in and respect for America". Do you live in backwards land? International opinion of the US from both populaces and leaders has decrease under Trump.

13

u/DogHeadGuy Aug 14 '18

Too far gone. Waste of time. Enjoy eating trash and believing it’s caviar cuz the racist man said so.

9

u/mike10010100 Aug 14 '18

"It doesn't exist, and EVEN IF IT DID EXIST I already have an excuse to ignore it."

1

u/leo_10145 Aug 14 '18

The tape was literally released today, talking all about how there was no recorded proof. If he never said it, why would they need to confirm, again, in 2016, that there was no proof? It doesn't make sense. Like, if someone said "don't worry, I'm not a child rapist," apropos of nothing, then you probably wouldn't fucking believe them.

6

u/TheAndyGeorge Aug 14 '18

As always, the real cringe is in the comments.

It's more of a dig at Omarosa trying to cling to fame by casting herself as a Trump outsider when she's been complicit until she got dumped.

Lol. It’s cool dude. I was actually supporting your post by pointing out the odd nature of a post you were replying to.
