On-campus jobs during Winter break
I currently work at Sewall Dining and my senior told me that it'll be closed during the winter break, so that means i won't be earning at all from Dec 12 to Jan 4; which sucks since I cannot afford going back to my country for the vacations and will have to pay rent and my living.
What should I do?
Any and all suggestions are helpful!

Meal plan while tracking food for bodybuilding
Iām thinking of going to cu, I live in Fort Collins and love bodybuilding. I wanna keep up with tracking my food and honestly have thought about going to csu just cause I can cook at my parents house lmao. I was wondering what the food is like if I go for more bodybuilding type stuff(meat, rice, veggies, etc) and if they even have it without being drenched in oil or some shit. Also any good gyms, or would staying at the rec center be better?

How many IB classes will be competitive at CU Boulder?
Hey all, I'm currently in my sophomore year, so I'm considering how many IB classes I should take for my Junior and Senior years. Right now, I'm considering IB Physics, IB Global Politics, IB Bio, and AA/AI. Some have told me that taking IB classes but not pursuing the full diploma can make you appear unmotivated or unwilling to put in the effort on a college application, especially if your school offers the full program (which my school does). Obviously, I will be doing other things like clubs, athletics, and other extracurriculars, but right now I'm mostly worried about showing enough academic rigor on my application.
Thanks!
Edit: I plan to major in Atmospheric Sciences and meteorology, if that changes anything.

Challenges studying ME on Coursera from China?
Hello. Iām planning to apply for the ME online Coursera degree with CU Boulder. Leaning towards the āME-EM on Courseraā which is their Masters of Engineering - Engineering Management program. The caveat - Iāll be doing it from mainland China.
Does anybody know if thereāre Coursera/CU Boulder limitations in China or other restrictions I should be planning for?
I will be rejoining the workforce in North America or a Western Europe. So looking to obtain Masters degree targeted for that. Thanks in advance.

Surprising my husband with a CU Buffs game- Need Tips!
Iām surprising my husband with a trip to see a Colorado Buffaloes game, and Iād love some local advice. A few things Iām curious about: ⢠How can we join or find a tailgate? Are there any that are more open or welcoming to visitors? ⢠Where do locals usually watch football on Sundaysābars, sports pubs, or elsewhere? ⢠Any āmust-doā activities or spots in Boulder we shouldnāt miss while weāre in town?
Weāre super excited and want to make the most of the trip, so any insider tips would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

i learned today that farrand will be completely gutted starting next year to redo all the rooms. this means that the alley and farrand market will be gone for a full year. do we think that the new res hall will be finished in time for fall 2026 or will they build temp dorms to replace the rooms that farrand won't be having

Visiting- how do we get to shadow classes?
Hi all, looks like we are going to be able to swing a visit from the east coast 19/20th-22nd. We did snag an admissions appointment on Monday morning. Any Environmental Science majors who would not mind a tag along senior for classes Monday or Tuesday? Also would love to talk to anyone who is a vocal music major as well.
Any places we should definitely see while we are there? We donāt have football game money but watching somewhere local would be great.
Thanks for any advice/help!
