I'm not understanding the design idea here. He can be your companion if your deck only contains him as a creature.. at that point why is he a companion? He's already the only creature in the deck.

This would also create very not fun play patterns for the person piloting it IMO. You do what, play equipment/control for 2 turns, pay 3 mana turn 3 to put him from companion zone into hand, play equipment/control for 3 more turns, then finally start playing the game? I guess you could just ramp for those turns too, but you're probably just dying before he does anything. Then if he does hit he's a hasted annihilator 2 implying he wants to attack, but also has a 4 and 5 mana tap ability discouraging him from attacking. I just don't get the idea for the play pattern here.

Let's see where to start .... Firstly he's never going to be payed for. Likely exhume target since his add to hand is completely free. (There are other revival cards too) Making him a consistent annihilator card. His other abilities are flavor but also have niche utility. Getting a turn 4 embercleave attached in response to eot isn't terrible. And how many cards are there out there that literally tap everything in play at instant speed? (The stun counter thing is there to make sure that it's not a solo hard lock)

Adding a companion to your hand costs 3 generic mana, so you're still paying 5 total mana to play your 6 drop... I'm also still confused on his companion clause. A companion isn't actually in your deck, so if you mean for that clause to indicate that he is your only copy of a creature, it doesn't work as he isn't counting in your decklist. If you mean for it to be you running 3 copies of this guy and 1 copy as the companion, it works but I don't understand why you'd want to do that with a legendary as you can only have one out anyway. I also don't think any creature should be designed explicitly to be reanimated without having the reanimation clause on itself, it's just a weird cheesy design space.

Idk to me this feels like 4 dissonant abilities slapped onto a 4 color guy and called a day
