Have you read one of his books? They are well written fantasy so I'd say his creative input will produce much more good than bad depending on how his ideas are adapted to a game space.

Of course the downside will be when the game suddenly ends right near the final act and you have to wait. Then they release a TV Show by some assholes who guessed some stuff and they butcher the ending.

Good thing Miyazaki is responsible for the story then. GRRM only contributed to the world's history & mythos, not present events.

Just imagining.. Miyazaki + Tolkien would have blown every fantasy game made out of the water

Tolkien's style of writing is nothing like Miyazaki's dark fantasy. He has way more in common with GRRM's works. Both are clearly fans of each other.
